Project Details

Bessingham Manor is an historic Victorian manor house in the beautiful Norfolk Norfolk countryside. This stunning 12-bedroom property, set in 4.5 acres of private wooded grounds, is available for private hire and can host up to 36 guests.

After standing dilapidated for many years, Bessingham Manor was purchased in 2011 by its current owners and then steadily returned to its former glory. In 2014, the house won the prestigious Graham Allen Award for Conservation and Design, from North Norfolk District Council. The Manor offers self-catering accommodation for large families, groups of friends or corporate teams.

This unique property required a website that would do it justice, showcasing its beautiful grounds and interior, and detailing the Manor’s colourful history.

Clarity Digital was instructed to design and build an eye-catching new website that would allow visitors to discover what Bessingham Manor has to offer and to make secure bookings online.

Our aim was to develop a site that was clean and modern, yet retained a period feel that reflected the decor and ambience of Bessingham Manor. Storytelling is also important for creating visitor engagement, so we ensured that the site included lots of content about the fascinating history behind the Manor.

Clarity’s scope also included various graphic design tasks, such as the creation of downloadable floor plans.
